There are certain things that you are legally permitted (and not permitted) to do with Projekktor and its source code. The formal version of the license (namely GNU GPL3) looks like this:

Our handy interpretation of it:

  1. You can use, modify and distribute Projekktor, but do so in the spirit of open source.
  2. You need to leave all the copyright notices intact.
  3. You need to be able to share any modifications you make to the Projekktor source (not necessarily the software Projekktor is integrated to).
  4. Give credit where credit is due, spread the word, link to us if you can.
