WHY? This project is released under GPL in order to give something back to the Internet community and in hope someone may find it useful. If you think that it is useful any kind of support is highly appreciated. This will help to pay hosting, bandwidth and the nerves needed to add new features and keeping the script up-to-date. Get a Supporter License
The license is strictly opional and the terms will be nearly the same GPL 3 fluff as for any other user. The only difference is that you do not need to unveil any changes you have made to the script. You can have a peek into the license document right here (pdf).
Optionally you will get an official bill (which includes 19% VAT for German licensees) and as such you have all you need to handle your donation with your accounting department and tax authorities.
The shop offers four different "Supporter Licenses" for Projekktor (II).
You decide which license you want to buy in order to support the project. Any kind of support helps and the basic idea is simple: If you are driving a small business or are a freelancer just grab the "Orchid" license and be assured that you will make me proud and happy. On the other hand if you are an international multicorporate enterprise using the player why not buying a pricier license in order to give me the special motivational boost to implement the next killer feature?
