Any progress on implementing the Vimeo compatibility?

The Vimeo API itself would allow an implementation into Projekktor but they still don´t offer chromeless players which will break all customized control elements and as such one of the central ideas behind this projekkt.

That´s why I removed "Vimeo" implementation from my todo. It simply doesn´t make sense. At the end Projekktor would be nothing more than an API wrapper for an API wrapper which is more overhead than any programmer-being should be confronted with. Sorry about that.

To be honest I know completely ZERO about hacking extensions and things like that. I'm simply someone using Wordpress (and Vimeo) and I'm looking for a simple solution to get my videos playing on the ipad / iphones via HTML5. Haven't found that simple solution yet -- and thus was looking in to Projekktor.

As far as the shortcode I used for youtube (via which I mentioned there was no pause button), I just tried a random video from youtube and embedded it temporarily on my website. For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLpA5yKxobo (this wasn't the one I used before, but just to give you an idea of the type of code I used.)

I'm on a Mac, latest OS X with latest version of Firefox.

I was wondering if Vimeo is supported with Projekktor? If so, how would it be implemented?

The Vimeo "Moogaloop" player isn´t supported yet but it´s not too complicated to achieve that. If you want to hack the required extension for your own, take a look at "player.youtube.js" for example to get an idea how it can be done.

Personally I would totally love to see Vimeo videos within the Projekktor environment. The problem is that this "Moogaloop" thingy don´t want me to turn off the Vimeo-GUI (as far as I know) which is quite annoying.

On the other hand: Why not use Projekktor just as a kind of gallery- / playlist- provider and disable the whole Projekktor controlbar for specific items. hmmm... I will think about that.

As a side note I tried with youtube which worked -- but the Pause button was not displayed -- so the video keeps playing with no possibility to shut it off except to close the page...
