Subtitles (Projekktor Plugins)

HI Sascha,

I assume that this will not be available for iOS since AFAIK there is no way to get overlay text from JS onto the player (since it isn't playing in a browser). The only way I can see of making this work is to embed the subtitles into the MP4 in the first place as tx3g subtitles. And then "somehow"* enable those on iOS and ;et the player display the subtitles, and when playing in a browser projekktor can download, parse and render the subs as an overlay - which given that the cue points are already working must be pretty much done already.

Personally I'd like it if we could specify an SRT file as well - since SRT is easier to generate and parse - plus can easily be added to the original MP4 (e.g. using Subler) for use in iOS.

Cheers, Ed.

* The only way I can see of enabling subtitles is as a system wide preference - not particularly useful in this situation.
