projekktor video player test series: winner is ipad

We are proud to announce the end of our test series regarding the capability and compatibility of our evolving Projekktor Zwei HTML5 video player project. we came to the following results and conclusions:

compatible browsers:
IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox 3.0+, Opera 10+, Safari 4+, Chrome 4+
IE6 uses flash fallback only of course.

The best thing is that it is proved to be compatible to iPhone (apart from the fact that the current demo page features a quite too big dimensioned player instance) and 100% iPad ready.

Reasons to celebrate and to finally concentrate on a wordpress plugin and a nice bundled download package. See ya, mates!

   which wordpress plugin do you plan to support?

   i’m using wordtube on some pages… *hint* *hint*

   it seems to be more practical to (re)write a custom plugin for the HTML5 stuff instead of writing “plugins for plugins” – but the wordtube functionality is great and will act as a very nice “template”.
